Mark your calendars! This is a one-day opportunity to visit a homeowner’s garden in the Crestwood neighborhood of Kansas City, MO. The focus of this garden is on native plants and their connection to wildlife including pollinators, birds, and butterflies.
The free July 8 tour event will feature educational opportunities in addition to time spent enjoying this beautiful location. KCNPI partners will be on hand throughout the day answer questions about native plants. Green Thumb Gardens will be onsite selling native plants so you can take home some native interest to your own yard. The tour was recently mentioned in this article on native yards which appeared in the July 2 Kansas City Star.
